INFORMATION FOR THE PRIVATE SECTOR

More and more companies in Egypt and across the world are getting involved in corporate social responsibility projects. Companies are realizing that it's in their business interest to 'do the right thing' everywhere they operate. Firms are becoming keenly aware that their long-term investment goals can only be achieved within a stable and healthy environment. Companies alone cannot solve the challenges associated with social responsibility and must work in cooperation with governments, civil society groups, citizens and development agencies such as UNFPA.

In Egypt , UNFPA is committed to working together with the private sector in order to achieve mutual development goals. This kind of partnership can range from a modest financial donation, to the development of a joint project on reproductive health, population issues, gender equality or empowerment of women.
